Sasando a string instrument originally from the Island of Rote Nusa Tenggara Timur a 7 century instrument now lies in the hand of Maestro Jeremiah Pah, modest down to earth, just a simple person with big dream of taking the Sasando to be known around the world. Seeing him on my traveling to Kupang was a plus, he played his modified Sasando playing old song and folks song took my imagination to his village in Rote a beautiful Island with beautiful people..
